Street Art in Reno Nevada

Updated: May 27

Today I took a virtual street art walking tour around Midtown, Reno, Nevada using Google Street View as the vehicle. The following are some of the murals and pieces I discovered during my wanderings. I have never been to Reno and I just had a look at a map of the United States and closed my eyes and pointed to a city. Of course, I would much prefer to be walking around on foot.

"Bacchus hath drowned more men than Neptune. " a quote by Dr Thomas Fuller.

This street art piece is a purple cat that looks like the demonic version of the Cheshire cat in Alice in Wonderland.  It is placed over the window of a shop called Happy Happy Joy Joy a toy store in midtown Reno. The eyes are a yellow spiral pattern making the cat looking bugged out.
